I was driving past the old Decker Hardware store in the abandoned strip mall near Woolsey & Franklin and there were a bunch of police cars pulled up outside. The cops were unloading some stuff and the writing on the side of the boxes was all funny. My husband Carl said it looked like it might be Uzbek or something? Anyway when I took this picture one of the cops came over and before I even knew what was happening he Tazed me right through the open window. Just reached right in and zapped me. I saw stars pretty good there for a second. I could feel my molars rattling around in my jaw and I think I started speaking in tongues. You can bet I hightailed it out of there! I heard on the Community News there’s something going in over there but I don’t know why I’d get Tazed for even looking? I mean, does that seem fair?

Hi, Greta! It’s Sgt. Barbara Yost, your Community Liaison Officer. I checked with district command and it turns out you were mistaken and there’s nothing to see at that location. Also, the officers were acting in compliance with recently-drafted lethal force regulations under an emergency proclamation that’s still pending and under seal. Hope that answers your question.
